Читати даліДоктор Саглам проводив наукові дослідження у галузях мікрохірургії та лицьової хірургії, які його цікавили. У своєму дисертаційному дослідженні щодо відновлення нервів «кінець у кінець» він визначив нову модифікацію (модифіковану рукавну нейрорафію). Він презентував цю техніку на Національному конгресі пластичної хірургії. У своєму дослідженні з Z-пластики, однієї з основних методик пластичної хірургії в 2022 році, він представив техніку дизайну Z-пластики під назвою «метод Саглама», яка виконується без використання кута (Z-пластика без кута: метод Саглама). Ця техніка була опублікована в PRS Journal, одному з найпрестижніших у світі журналів із пластичної хірургії.
